After writing a strategic plan using the S&T tree, a Fortune 500 executive referred to his company's past planning efforts as “amateurish.” How can organizations be much more effective in strategic planning and execution of that plan? This program explains why the S&T tree is the tool for achieving this. Participants in this program will first learn how to effectively read an S&T tree and how to customize one. A significant amount of time will be spent on learning how to write a new S&T tree (from scratch). This program is not long enough to fully learn how to write a new S&T tree, but is a good first step to begin the process.
